Leadership Spotlight: Ed Boyd, PMP®, Program Manager

Ed Boyd

Ed is a program management and operational leadership professional with more than 20 years of experience supporting complex technology programs, military operations, and mission-critical environments.

As Program Manager for OSC EdgeTech, Ed leads the planning, execution, and delivery of mission-focused technology programs. He brings a disciplined, results-oriented approach to program delivery, combining project management, operational planning, cross-functional leadership, and stakeholder coordination to support federal and defense customers.

Ed’s background includes extensive leadership experience in the U.S. Army Signal Corps, where he served in command, staff, network operations, and signal planning roles. His assignments included Battalion S6, Company Command, G6 Operations Chief, Deputy G6, G35 Signal Planner, Network Operations Chief, and Deputy G3. He also served as a Senior Small Group Leader at the U.S. Army Signal School, helping develop and prepare future Army leaders.

Throughout his military career, Ed led teams in both tactical and strategic environments, including assignments at Fort Bragg, Fort Gordon, Fort Carson, Fort Stewart, East Point, and forward deployed locations. His experience includes network operations, communications planning, operational readiness, Agile project management, organizational leadership, and support for deployed and garrison missions.

Before joining OSC EdgeTech, Ed served as a Program Manager for OSC Edge, where he supported program execution, operational planning, project delivery, and customer requirements. He is known for his ability to align technical teams, leadership, and stakeholders around shared objectives while maintaining transparency, accountability, and mission focus.

Ed holds the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification and has additional training and certifications in VMware data center virtualization, ITIL v3, Cisco networking, CompTIA Project+, Network+, and Security+. His areas of expertise include program and project management, Agile methodologies, risk management, stakeholder engagement, network operations, process improvement, team development, and strategic planning.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Oregon State University.
